About Iuri Santos

I’m a software and systems developer based in Sleaford. I’ve worked on the systems that keep busy warehouses running and led teams through projects to improve the way they work.

How I approach a warehouse software problem

My on-site work has included overhauling older warehouse management systems in high-volume operations. I’ve also worked at Cranswick Pet Products Limited. I’m interested in the practical cost of an awkward workflow. The people using a system every day can usually show me which slow step or repeated correction is costing them time.

I like to follow one task from start to finish. If stock appears late on a report, I compare the records with what happened on shift. Did the information arrive late, or did the report run before an update was due? That distinction matters when deciding whether to change the software, change the workflow or leave a useful process alone.

Connecting KornitX orders to Mintsoft stock movements

In February and March 2025, I wrote a script to connect the KornitX order management system to Mintsoft. A webhook, a message sent when an event happens, triggered the release of the corresponding stock in Mintsoft.

I passed the order reference through with the stock movement so the warehouse team could trace the release back to its order. That connection between the two records was as important as the stock update itself.

Spreadsheet Batcher for fulfilment orders

In 2023 I used Google Sheets and Apps Script to build Spreadsheet Batcher. It grouped fulfilment orders into batches, recorded out-of-stock items and helped release orders that were stuck in the database.

One rule mattered in particular. An order already recorded as out of stock had to be recognised when the batch ran again, so it would not be reproduced.

BAG report for order activation codes

In 2022 I used Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in Excel to build the BAG report. The workbook checked order activation codes as part of preparing the reports, so the same validation rules could be applied each time.

Education and training

I studied at the University of West London from 2013 to 2016. In March 2024 I gained the Foundational C# with Microsoft certification through freeCodeCamp. My warehouse training also includes forklift certification from CoLa Training Services in June 2024.

I speak English and Portuguese. I also have limited working proficiency in Spanish.

Freelance projects with Drive By Websites Ltd

I work with Drive By Websites Ltd on a freelance, per-project basis. When one of their clients needs an API integration or a legacy software migration, Drive By Websites Ltd can bring me in for that project.

Warehouse management software in private beta

I also develop TabulaWMS, warehouse management software currently in private beta. For a business commissioning its own internal tool, I start with the stock or processing task the team needs to carry out and the software it already uses.
